Just went here last night for NYE dinner and was blown away! Every, single thing we ordered was DELICIOUS! Me and my husband's conversation consisted mostly of "omg"s and "mmm"s. Even the bread was good, crispy outside, warm, soft inside, served with a roasted garlic EVOO. We went with our 4 kids aged 7-10 and they have nice options on their kids' menu, plus plenty of options on the regular menu if you have more adventurous eaters. We started with the broccoli rabe and sausage appetizer and the seafood salad special. Hands down the best and freshest seafood salad I've ever had, even our kids loved it. The broth that the broccoli rabe and sausage sat in was so flavorful, full of wine, garlic, and caramelized onions. I also wanted the maiitake marsala just for fun and it DID NOT disappoint! For dinner, 2 out of our 4 had chicken fingers with fries, 1 had spaghetti and meatballs, and 1 had a Caesar salad - all generous portions. My husband had the gnocchi in black truffle cream sauce and added grilled chicken. Now listen when I tell you, we both don't even like gnocchi, but this gnocchi was AMAZING. The sauce was absolutely delicious. I had a special seafood pasta - tagliatelle with rock shrimp, lobster, and bay scallops in this creamy coconut lobster sauce - PHENOMENAL. To top it off, the service was fabulous and drinks were tasty and strong. This place is pricey, but you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny!
Everything was amazing from start to finish. The food was amazing. We had their special for the week which was the rice balls they had a way better name for them but they were amazing. The burrata appetizer was to die for and for dinner we had the lobster risotto and the gnocchi with breaded chicken which you must add to your dish. But the best part of our experience was our waitress Lisa professional, kind, and gave us her personal recommendation on the menu and she did not disappoint! Our new favorite place!
La Mondina was a wonderful reception for my son's wedding. It was very classy, the food was amazing, the atmosphere was romantic and exciting. The staff is enthusiastic and attentive, very knowledgeable of their menu and what they have to offer. The mixologists were spectacular. The in-house photographer, you can't find any better. The pricing is exactly right. Everything about this special restaurant and its venue is perfect. It's an intimate setting that is very beautiful and tranquil. I recommend La Mondina to anyone who loves Italian food and a beautiful atmosphere. Parking is ample and has handicap accessibility. There are special menus for toddlers and young children available upon request, and even the smallest of details was managed impeccably. Hats off to the staff and the owners of La Mondina. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I would also like to add that the bathrooms were impeccably clean with accommodating baby changing stations in both men and women's rooms. There is also a large enclosed area just as you enter the restaurant it has a water fountain and lots of places for the children to play. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.
Shoutout to our server Tori for being an absolute legend. 10/10 vibes, elite-level menu knowledge, and the reflexes of a caffeinated hawk — she caught every refill, request, and sarcastic comment we threw her way. If Tori isn’t Employee of the Month, I’m starting a petition. Someone give this woman a raise and a trophy shaped like a bread basket.
Had a fantastic time during our recent visit! Despite the bustling Saturday night crowd, the experience was flawless from start to finish. The food was exceptional. The drinks were a delightful complement to our meal, perfectly crafted and delicious. What truly stood out was the impeccable service. Despite the busy evening, the staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel like valued guests. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine warmth elevated our dining experience. La Mondina exceeded my expectations.
Tori was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and enjoys what she does. Thank you, Tori, for such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!
Great place. We had such a wonderful experience here, it was our first time for my husband and I. The service was amazing, they always made sure to remove empty plates and bring clean silverware. Now days is hard to find places where the service keeps up and always courteous. The food was amazing too. We ordered the special which was the lamb which was perfectly cooked, it pretty much melt and the pork chop was to die for, a little spicy. The Calamari was very good. I also recommend the Gnocchi which was delicious and the penne a la vodka so creamy and so good.
We had an excellent dining experience at La Mondina! I ordered the Veal Milanese, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My wife had the pasta special, and she loved it too! The service was outstanding—attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!
